Who Is to Blame for the Fall?

Read the Message That Bishop Macedo Has for You

    • The apostle Paul says that the god of this world has blinded people’s understanding. “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.” (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).

Many people once gave their lives for faith in the Lord Jesus and then abandoned that faith. These people think they have been wronged and always blame other people for their downfall. But they themselves are to blame.

God did not want Adam and Eve to have knowledge of evil. But out of curiosity, Eve consciously ate the fruit of evil. The devil led her to rebel, but if only he was to blame for that attitude, God would not punish Adam and Eve, because He is just.

So if you got it wrong, it’s your fault.

It was you who made the decision to seek your own righteousness and come out of the faith. But know that as long as there is life, there is also hope. Then you can return to the Presence of God and have a new life.
