Where does the courage to forgive come from?

The act of forgiveness is a matter of decision, which requires courage – and this comes from nowhere other than the Holy Spirit:

“It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”(John 6:63 NKJV)

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the supernatural, rational and practical faith, and only those who have Him are capable of carrying out His will.

Those who have not yet been regenerated by Him are led by a natural faith, which is restricted to their own feelings.

The person who hears and believes in His Words, acquires courage to surrender to the will of God, as it says in the Holy Scriptures:

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17 NKJV)

If you have been experiencing difficulty forgiving, but want to find inner healing, participate in the “Sunday of Forgiveness” at the Universal Church.
