Who is the pastor who is dangerous to hell?

Who is the pastor that makes hell tremble when it sees him?

It is the pastor whose mind is firmly upon Jesus 24 hours a day. That is, he shares his entire life with the Most High – not only during the meetings on the altar, but mainly when he is alone, faced with the opportunity to sin.

If the pastor knew how this stance frees him from the snares of the devil, he would make a great effort to keep himself connected to heaven.

The devil is a player, and just like in basketball, he wants to hit the ball through the hoop every time, insistently. And where is the hoop? In the mind!

But if our minds are on Jesus, the ball (thoughts, doubts, snares, etc.) will never get through because there is a conscience of faith there, always filtering Satan’s actions.

This is a strong pastor, whose mind is in Christ Jesus.

“…we have the mind of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 2:16

He feels insecure in this world, knowing that his soul is always at risk and therefore, he is constantly dependant on and in communion with God.

When, in our minds, we pay more attention to the things, people, worries, and cares of this world, and leave the Lord Jesus out of our thoughts, without realising it, we are replacing the first love within us.

Keep your mind on Jesus until the end. Then you will have the peace and confidence to overcome all the struggles that come your way, and you will finally be able to one day say:

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
