Stay active to boost your mental wellbeing
I’m sure you’ve heard this before: “exercise makes us feel better”! Research has shown that an active lifestyle promotes mental and emotional wellbeing as well as physical.
This is due to the chemicals that are released in the brain when you exercise, which increase feelings of happiness, relaxation and reduce anxiety. Just 5 minutes of cardio can better your mood!
Regular exercise also improves your energy levels, sleep, immune system and encourages healthy aging. Furthermore, regular exercise may make you feel more confident about yourself and your appearance.
This doesn’t have to be a vigorous workout, simply going for a walk can have these positive effects.
