THE LORD JESUS

Who is Jesus?

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

(John 14.6)

This phrase was said by the Lord Jesus so that men would know that He came to be our Guide to God. But to spend Eternal Life beside God, it is necessary to follow the steps of the Lord Jesus practicing His teachings.

Know what these steps are, here!

Unfortunately, many people have ignored or forgotten the practical part of this agreement. Walking the path of current society, that is mainly a lifestyle where the person is subject to illusion, immorality and sin, in fact not even the religions of this world lives according to what the Word of God teaches.
Choose the right path, practicing the teachings that the Lord Jesus left us and have a happy life and see His glory to manifest in your life.

They want Him as a servant, not as a Lord. They use Him as the Object of their will and do not act as servants of His will.”

Bishop Edir Macedo

Many seek God last in place, act as if He were an object, available only to be used when needed. Whoever acts in such a way will not reach the Salvation coming from Him, because they seek Him out of interest and not with sincere love. But God has revealed to us an intelligent Faith that leads us to recognize the Lord Jesus as the Way that leads us to the Father. In this way, there are necessary conditions imposed by God for us to reach eternal life.

Who is Jesus Christ to the people?

The only place able to provide us with reliable information about Jesus is the Bible, the Word of God, especially the reports of those who lived with Christ.

When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”

(Matthew 16. 13)

People’s response is very similar to the kind of response we see today about who the Lord Jesus Christ is…

So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.””
(Matthew 16.14)

That is, people were confused about who He was. Many had their opinions and the voice of the people was not the voice of God, because everyone was wrong! Today, some say that He was a prophet of God, others a revolutionary, and still some say that he was just someone who sought to change His society, but failed because he was crucified.

But Jesus then questions His disciples as to who He Himself would be. Peter’s answer was correct, because the Lord Jesus himself confirmed it…

“Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.”
(Matthew 16. 16-17)

We would like to present to you, in a simple way, who Jesus is for the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God and all who attend it (Bishops, Pastors, Workers and Members):

JESUS CHRIST IS THE LORD

The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG) has the mission to follow in the footsteps of the Lord Jesus and his apostles here on earth:

“ And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.”

Mark 16:15-20
