The month of June, throughout Universal, will be the “Month of Honour” for those who wish to come second before God, putting Him first. The period will mark the beginning of the second half of the year.

This world encourages people to be first in everything. However, in the Bible, we see that God honours those who put Him first in their lives. This involves a personal sacrifice. A person needs to leave their ego, their own desires, their plans and everything else that represents them at the Altar of God. Because God only reveals Himself to those who surrender to Him.

What the Bible says:

In the Word of God, we find countless passages that talk about the meaning of the firstfruits before the Most High. They represent the honor that a person attributes to Him. Just to illustrate:

“[…] for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.” (1 Samuel 2:30).

“And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s. It is holy to the Lord.”  (Leviticus 27:30).

““You offer defiled food on My altar,
But say, ‘In what way have we defiled You?’ By saying,
‘The table of the Lord is contemptible.’
And when you offer the blind as a sacrifice,
Is it not evil? And when you offer the lame and sick,
Is it not evil? Offer it then to your governor! Would he be pleased with you?
Would he accept you favorably?” Says the Lord of hosts.”  (Malachi 1:7-8).

Therefore, be aware of the value of God when you approach the Altar. Have fear, respect and reverence for Him.
