Join Us for Our Food Bank Event on 28 February 2026!

UCKG Apukeskus Suomi Ry invites the local community in Helsinki and surrounding areas to our upcoming Food Bank event, taking place on Saturday, 28 February 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at our headquarters: Kaupintie 13, Pohjois-Haaga.

 Addressing Food Insecurity Together 

This initiative aims to provide much-needed support to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Open to everyone—regardless of religion, background, or personal circumstances—the Food Bank event is a moment of togetherness and care within our local community.

 What You’ll Find 

We aim to distribute both non-perishable and fresh food items, made possible through generous donations. As supplies are limited, distribution will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

In addition, free clothing items—including jackets and trousers—will be available. Sizes and quantities cannot be guaranteed, so early arrival is encouraged.

 Additional Support 

As a Christian association, we believe in providing not only material assistance but also spiritual support. Our pastor and assistants will be present to offer prayers and spiritual guidance to anyone who wishes to receive it.

 How to Participate 

No prior registration is required—simply stop by during the event hours. If you would like to volunteer, please contact us at outreach@uckg.fi at least five days before the event to arrange a brief training session.

This event is more than a distribution of resources—it is an opportunity to come together in a safe and welcoming environment. Inspired by the words of Hebrews 13:16:
