Don’t trust the opinions of your heart!

We usually think that only unbelievers act the by the emotions of their heart, but this is not true…

He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, But whoever walks wisely will be delivered.”
Proverbs 28:26

The reason for the fall of many people is none other than the folly of trusting the opinions that their hearts give about themselves.

We think that only unbelievers act based on their hearts feelings, but this is not true. All the problems that we have seen in the evangelical environment originate from those who trust their emotions, their strength, their justice, their own advice and feelings.

Hence comes an inordinate love of one’s own desires, the desire to be treated better, to have a higher position, to foment one’s ego…

Now, do we really believe the Word that says “the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked”? Jeremiah 17:9 – Have we not seen more foolish Christians than wise ones? More people lost than saved inside churches?

Let the testimony of life itself speak for each one. There are so many wrong decisions and hasty choices that end up with self-inflicted suffering. This proves that the attitudes were not the fruit of God’s counsel, because when we listen to Him, we are always guided to what is good and just.

So, instead of following your heart and its foolishness, dare to experience the fullness of life that is walking according to the Word of God!

Whoever obeys the Word “walks in wisdom and will be saved”, because he keeps himself from pride, self-confidence and the daydreams that are the human will.

Whoever walks in wisdom is humble and entirely dependent on the strength of the Most High. Day after day fill your heart with “whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report(…)” Philippians 4:8
