What would you do if you could go back in time and change your attitudes and behaviour? Perhaps you would go back to a moment when you could save a lost relationship or undo a huge mistake that destroyed your life.

These negative feelings are seen in the story of Job in the Bible, after he lost everything and wished he could go back to the days where he lived in security:

“Oh, that I were as in months past as in the days when God watched over me.” (Job 29:2)

If there are more than a few things that you would change about your past if you could, God has a proposal for you.

If you are willing to leave your past mistakes and losses in the past and move forward, choosing to place God first, then He is able to transform your life beyond what you could ever imagine.

In Job’s case, God restored everything Job lost and he lived a very long and happy life.

“The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part (…)” (Job 42:12 NKJV)

God is the same today and He is able to work in the same way for all those who call upon Him.
