Choose to Start the New Year Differently

The end of the year is fast approaching and with the unexpected turn 2022 has taken, no one knows for sure what 2023 will bring.

But there is Someone who does.

Why not enter the New Year holding hands with God? The only One who knows what is to come. Maybe you have never done this before, so why not try something different and give God a try?

On Saturday 31st December, we will have our annual New Year’s Eve Night Vigil at 10pm. Those who have made it a habit of starting their year this way can affirm that it is a great way to set the precedence for the rest of the year.

Place your life and trust in the hands of the Creator. When you allow God to take control, you don’t need to know what will happen in 2023. You won’t have anything to fear because you know that He will bless and protect you.

This attitude has made a difference in the life of 38-year-old businessman Alex Navarra. The passages of years he used to have were lonely. “I was separated, with no contact with anyone, so I got involved in the world of drugs and gangs. Often, at that time, I would drive aimlessly through the city, thinking about what would happen in my life”, he says. Even if he was in a party, he felt alone, since afterward he wouldn’t have any real friends to share his days.
But after he spent his first New Year at Universal, his life was never the same. On New Year’s Eve 2019 he was at the Vigil, in the Temple of Solomon. There, he felt supported by God and was sure that this was the best place to enter the new year: in His presence.

“It was the best decision I made, as it brings me inner peace, certainty of victory, strength and direction to win the fights. Furthermore, I show that I want the Lord Jesus to guide my life for another year”, he says.

So, to have a real New Year, be at The night Vigil to turn into a new year that will take place at the Universal, on December 31st, at 10pm.

So choose to start the year differently. Break into a New Year in the house of God, and invite your family and friends to do the same.

We’ll see you there!
