Are You Searching for Peace?
What has been taking away your peace?
Life can be tough at times, and when the problems begin to pile up, you may begin to feel affected.
The Lord Jesus said in His Word that He is the source of all peace, and that without Him it would be impossible to experience this inner serenity:
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NKJV)
This Sunday at 10am (also at 7:30am) we shall have the Sunday of Peace in all our Universal Churches for all those who want to experience true peace.
During last week’s message we were taught that if we have the peace that comes from God, we’re able to live in peace with others.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” (Matthew 5:9)
This teaching may have been poorly received by the Jews at the time. After all, they were under the rule of Rome.
What they wanted most was a liberator who would start a rebellion and get them out of their situation, not someone who would be peaceful and promote peace.
God is peace itself, so much so that one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is peace (Galatians 5:22). Therefore, whoever belongs to God does not chase controversy, confusion or enmity.
To learn about the next beatitude and how you can receive total peace from within, don’t miss this Sunday morning service.
Bring your Bible, a bottle of water and the pictures of your family. There will be an opportunity for you to bless your water and pray for your family. We will see you there!
